Caritas "Autumn Festival"
Caritas Switzerland is very heavily involved in fighting poverty in Switzerland, and in this context initiated the sponsorship project "mit mir" (with me) in 2003. Volunteers help disadvantaged children and offer them time, attention, support and encouragement that their parents are frequently unable to provide in sufficient quantities as a result of their own problems.

On Saturday 1 September, Caritas Zurich organized an autumn festival for children involved in the "mit mir" project in Zurich, their parents and sponsors, at which the networking of the families was at the forefront. In addition to a financial donation, we also involved ourselves personally here, and were present with five people at the autumn festival in order to make a joint contribution towards the success of the project.
The theme of the day was"circus" and it is a great pleasure to try out juggling and balancing with the kids and professional artists, as well as to hand out cotton candy and popcorn to the children and their parents.
